All set for Kamukunji Peace Cup grand finale
The 2024 Kamukunji Peace Cup reaches its thrilling conclusion today with two final matches at Kamukunji Grounds. Majengo AllStars and Shaurimoyo AllStars will compete in the women’s final at 11:00 AM, while Wenyeji United faces Shaurimoyo United in the men’s final at 2:00 PM.
The Kamukunji Grounds will host the exciting 2024 Kamukunji Peace Cup Final today, a local tournament that brings youth together through the love of football.
Kicking off at 11:00 AM with the women’s final, Majengo AllStars will face Shaurimoyo AllStars in a highly anticipated showdown. Later in the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, Wenyeji United will take on Shaurimoyo United in the men’s final.

For Kamukunji, the Peace Cup means more than just football. Kamukunji Member of Parliament Yusuf Hassan spoke passionately about the tournament’s impact when it launched earlier this year.
“Basically, the tournament is meant to foster harmony and unity among the youth through football, which is loved by many in this constituency,” he said. He added that the winning teams are set to receive about Ksh 1 million as a reward.
